“BLUSH, A Natural Glow!!”

Enlarge a smaller eye

Accenting Cheekbones – Blush can act as a contour, highlighter, or both, depending on how it is applied! Suck in cheeks, feel along cheekbone downward until you feel the natural hollow. This is where the darker color will be applied.

Using a sponge, apply darker color in deepest area making a “C” shape from hollow up to the temple. Smile, then apply a lighter color lightly on apple of the cheek. Blending the lighter color on your cheek bone into the darker color. Then apply Blush to your nose, forehead, and chin.

Widen Eyes

Blush for the Wider Face – Suck in cheeks, feel along cheekbone tracing downward until you feel the natural hollow. This is where the darker color will be applied. With a sponge, apply the darker color into the hollow making a “C” shape, then blend the color softly up to the outer side of your eye.

Do not blush any higher than your eye on the side of your face. Use lighter color on top of the cheekbone blending it into darker shade. Use lighter color well below your darkest blush shade to aid in a slimming effect. Smile, sponge the apple of the cheek lightly with lighter shade of blush. Lightly sponge tip of the the chin with lighter shade.

Widen Eyes

Blush for a Long Face – Suck in cheeks, feel along cheekbone tracing downward until you feel the natural hollow. This is where the darker color will be applied. With a sponge, apply the darker color in the hollow making a “C” shape, blending up to your temples on the side of your face.

Use lighter shade and apply blush on top of your cheekbone making sure not to work to high as to interfere with under eye plane. This can make the eye look puffy! Smile, then blend the lighter color on the apple of your cheeks. Try a little touch of blush on tip of nose for a sun-glow effect!! A light blushing of color on forehead and/or chin can help de-emphasize the length of your face.
